I have been songwriting for about 20 years. My successes have included 5 independent cuts, one of which hit #6 on the European Top 100 chart. In 2021, I have taken steps to reinvigorate my passion for songwriting, taking it one note at a time.

My Story

For me personally, songwriting started like teething begins for a child. It has been a part of my DNA for as long as I can remember.

By definition a song can be based upon a real life experience, a secondhand story, or sometimes from just a single line in a movie.

Create a background, add a little color, make a real life connection, and you have a song. Perhaps the best song of mine is the one that hasn’t been heard yet.

My favorite meeting was with The Man, George Jones, at Mel Tillis Music in Nashville back in the late 90s.

His words of inspiration and advice came to life that day. The picture above was taken just before he drove away, NO SHOW #1, when he told me to just “Keep Knockin.”

Those words would lead to my first major cut, with co-writer Mike Boehnlein, that would eventually reach #6 in Europe.

Today I share my life with the woman of my dreams and I try to spend as much time as possible with my three children and grandchildren

Everyday I thank God for the talent and the creativity he has blessed me with, and the passion that still burns within me to fulfill this dream.
